Plan with insight. Deliver with confidence.

What myP3+ Scheduling Module enables?

The myP3+ Scheduling Module can be implemented without the core myP3+ app, giving organisations access to an easy-to-use scheduling tool that includes Resource Management (linked to Enterprise Resource Pool) and Cost Management. The module supports structured yet flexible planning across projects, programs, and portfolios, ensuring delivery plans reflect real delivery capability and costs, rather than assumptions.

MYP3+ SCHEDULING MODULE FEATURES OVERVIEW

Scheduling

What is being delivered, when?

STRUCTURED, FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

Plan work and capture actual progress across projects, programmes and portfolios using:

  • Tasks / activities
  • Products / deliverables
  • Milestones and dependencies

Schedules can start at a high level for early planning and mature progressively as initiatives move into delivery. Predefined templates with resource plans built in can simplify and accelerate planning.

Resourcing

Who will deliver what?

INTEGRATED RESOURCE PLANNING

Supports early role‑based planning and seamless transition to named resources as plans firm up, capturing actual effort as plans move into delivery.

Resources can be assigned as:

  • Named individuals (e.g. Jane Smith)
  • Generic resources or roles (e.g. Project Manager)

For each task or deliverable:

  • Forecast effort (hours) per resource
  • Distribute workload over time
  • Model shared or part‑time resource allocation
  • Capture actual hours worked and monitor progress against plan

This results in a time‑phased view of resource demand across initiatives supporting realistic planning and early identification of resource constraints. Comparing planned vs actual effort improves forecasting accuracy, enables early identification of issues, and strengthens future planning.

Costing

How much will it cost to deliver?

INTEGRATED COST MANAGEMENT

Extends scheduling and resource planning with integrated cost management, providing clear visibility of planned, forecast, and actual costs throughout delivery.

By linking costs directly to work and resources, organisations can understand the financial impact of delivery decisions early, not after it’s too late.

  • Define cost rates for resources
  • Automatically calculate planned and forecast costs from schedules
  • Capture actual costs as work progresses
  • Track cost performance alongside schedule and resource data

This provides a time‑phased view of cost forecasts and actuals, enabling proactive cost control and more confident financial decision‑making.

Reporting

How are we progressing against what was planned?

CLEAR, ACITIONABLE INSIGHTS

Provides clear, actionable insights into whether planned work can realistically be delivered with available resources (analysing resource demand against available capacity).

Capacity and demand can be viewed by:

  • Team (e.g. delivery squads, functional teams)
  • Role (e.g. Project Manager)
  • Individual resource (e.g. Jane Smith)

Built in reports highlight:

  • Future resource constraints
  • Trends across projects and portfolios
  • Cost impact of resource demand over time
  • Planned vs forecast cost variances driven by capacity constraints

These insights support informed decision‑making around prioritisation, sequencing, and investment.
They also provide early visibility of cost pressure and budget risk before delivery is impacted.
